My boyfriend has been working really hard on a versus level, so I thought I would promo it here for him. Here is the link to the level on LBP.me and what he has to say about it:

Cosmic Blasters is a two-stick shooter style game where you can battle remote-controlled neon space ships against each other in a battle arena, or compete for the highest score in target practice. Battle Mode will work for 2-4 Players only, and Target Mode works for 1-4 Players. Game will automatically play in Target Mode if playing single player. Left stick to move, Right stick to fire. Please comment if you find any glitches or have any suggestions. All logic and objects created by myself.

Hi, this is Shino. I must say I'm addicted to LBP and have played through it what feels like several hundred times. I've decided to try and move to level making now but I'm a little stuck. Does anyone have any advice? I'd like to create a Metal Gear Solid themed level and just need some general advice to get me going like on creating buildings, obstacles, background elements, that sort of thing. I've played the tutorials and they're great and all but I still don't know what I'm doing. Besides, I'd played them all a while ago when I was just doing them to get them out of the way, but now that I'm actually trying to make a level I'm afraid I've forgotten what some of them do. Thanks ever so much, and maybe we can play together sometime.

Hi,

On a whim, I recently downloaded and played through the demo, and now completely charmed by the potential that the full game supposedly has.

I've noticed that many of the achievements for the game require involvement of other players online though, and with the sequel coming out in barely a few months down the road, I suppose the LBP player community would dwindle down and move on to the sequel instead, and leaving many of these achievements not easily achievable.

So, should I get LBP GOTY now, or wait and go straight for LBP2?

Cheers~

p.s. I've also heard that despite LBP DLCs being confirmed to be fully compatible with LBP2, the ones that come pre-installed with GOTY disc won't?

It's that time of year again, time for children and adults to rejoyce! E3 is here once again and with it came this:

LBP2 Demonstration Video )

Personally I'm itching to get my hands on a copy! I can't wait to hear more about it closer to it's release. Right now I've gotten as far as wondering what kind of pre-order specials will be available, I sadly missed out when Nariko and Kratos were on the cards =P.

I'm not sure if this is still relevant to everybody's interests since this place doesn't see much activity these days. But I thought I'd share it anyway, since nobody else has and perhaps not all of you follow the E3 coverage as closely as I do.

Have an excellent E3 season guys =).

just got the game and i'm pretty excited. at first i was really annoyed with the guy talking but then i got used to it. i'm still trying to figure it out but my fiance is playing it right now lol.

oh i have a question. so everytime we go to play it it takes us to this download screen but the thing is it won't update or whatever. it says there is an error or something like that. the weird thing is that we have another game and it downloaded just fine after we got the internet set up. has this happened to anyone before? the game is brand new so yeah, i'm confused. any suggestions?

Hello to you fellow LBP fans out there!

I'm in the US and we aren't seeing the Pirates/Water packs in the lbp store. Was it only released overseas?

Thank you.
